Ballots for the International Union election will be mailed on October 6 and counted on November 14 according to the official schedule released today by the Election Supervisor.
Supporters are already donating some of their summer vacation time to help outreach to Teamster voters.
Our efforts will intensify when the ballots mail on October 6. Make your plans now to take time off or help turn out the vote in October and November.
Voting is by secret ballot and the whole process is run by an independent election supervisor.
The ballot count will be held in or near Washington, D.C. at a location to be announced.
Teamsters United will have observers at the vote count. If you’re interested in being an observer, contact the campaign. But first, register for the conference call and make plans to help get out the vote!
Read the Election Supervisor’s advisory on the mailing date and ballot count commencement date.
