What if you send in your ballot and it comes back to you in the mail? Believe it or not, this is happening to some Teamsters.
Instead of being delivered to the Election Supervisor’s office, a small number Teamster ballots are being mailed back to the voter instead.
This snafu happens when automatic scanners used by the post office read the wrong side of the ballot envelope.
Fortunately, this is a rare occurrence and only a small number of ballots are affected. But every vote counts!
The solution is simple. Members who have this problem should mail the same ballot again right away. Do not scratch off your name or deface the ballot envelope in any way.
If you hear of members having this problem, set them straight on what to do—and keep getting out the vote for the Fred Zuckerman Teamsters United slate.
If you did need a new ballot, call the independent Election Supervisor at 844-428-8683 immediately and order a ballot.
The ballot replacement line is open Monday-Friday, 8am-9pm (Eastern) and Saturday-Sunday 9am-5pm (Eastern).
